Anti-Harassment Ministry
Mission Statement: Elam Baptist Church (EBC) does not permit harassing conduct by anyone in the workplace. It is the policy of EBC to maintain a work environment free from the harassing conduct described above.
Benevolent Ministry
Mission Statement: To glorify Jesus Christ by sharing Christ’s love in a material way with needy people in and outside our congregation.

Bible Study Ministry
Mission Statement: The purpose of the Bible Study ministry team is to coordinate all activities and ministries of various weekday programs and to serve as liaison between the weekday program and the church.
Budget/Finance Ministry
Mission Statement: Counsel, guide and direct the staff and church in the judicious use and management of all financial resources of Elam Baptist Church and all of its integrated auxiliary ministries. Ensure that adequate internal financial controls are in place to safeguard the church’s financial resources and to protect the reputation of the staff and Elam Baptist Church.
Cemetery Manager Ministry
Mission Statement: Rejoice with them that do rejoice and weep with them that weep. Romans12:15
Manages the maintenance of cemetery grounds by supervising the operations, coordinating activities, inspecting grounds, ensuring conformance to standards, rules and regulations by outside agencies.

Children’s Church Ministry

College Watch Care Ministry
Mission Statement: To encourage our members as they matriculate through College. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17
Custodian Ministry
Mission Statement: The Custodians are responsible for maintaining the church facilities in a clean and orderly manner ready for planned church activities events.
Greeter’s Ministry
Mission Statement: The purpose of the Greeter’s Ministry is to glorify Jesus Christ and share Christ’s love by greeting, assisting, and showing hospitality to those visiting our morning worship services.
Health Care Ministry
Mission Statement: Our mission is to increase member awareness by providing an opportunity for communication and education regarding issues such as health, safety and environment among Elam’s members and the general public
Deacons Ministry
Mission Statement: As extended arms of the Pastor, we minister to the congregation as his representatives in matters that will further the growth of the individual member and the corporate body. Acts 6:1-6

Financially Free Ministry
Mission Statement: The Elam Baptist Church Financially Free Ministry has been established for the purpose of ministering to members and non-members alike regarding their personal finances. All counseling will be based on biblical principles and personal applications of money management. It is the desire of leadership to see members and non-members move out of financial bondage into financial freedom. I Timothy 5:8
Food Service Ministry
Mission Statement: To assist the church in determining its need for food services and to administer its food service program effectively. Ensure quality meals at an economic price.
Hands of Worship Mime Ministry
Mission Statement: To cater to the needs of all who worship God through the arts with new, relative and timely information to better equip them for ministry. Psalms 63:4
Intercessory Prayer Ministry
Mission Statement: Intercessory prayer strengthens the body as it runs the race of ministry.
Marriage Class Ministry
Mission Statement: Preparing for Marriage God’s Way Ministry exists to provide biblical insight and relational support to those who have experienced marital breakdown in order to bring them to a resolve that honors God.
Media Ministry
Mission Statement: To spread the Word of Jesus Christ through the broadcast medium, audio and videotape technology. The Media Ministry also supports other ministries, which require the use of any sound and or video equipment.
Men Ministry
Mission: Assist men in developing a strong personal relationship with the Lord and equip them to be the spiritual leaders in their homes, in the church and in the marketplace. Psalm 133:1
Missionary Ministry
Mission Statement: To develop and implement a program of mission and mission’s awareness; to balance the mission needs of the community with the financial resources of the church. Reach out to those who are in need in the local as well as abroad. II Peter 3:9
Mother’s Board Ministry
Mission Statement: The mission of the Mothers’ Ministry is to assist the Pastor in developing the Spiritual life of the women and young girls of the Church. The Mothers’ Ministry is to assist the Pastor and Deacons with baptism, assist in the preparation and administering of the Lord’s Supper, make in home and hospital visits to sick and shut-in members, and provide spiritual counseling to those in need at the Church.

Mission Statement: Speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in our hearts. Psalms 150:6

New Member’s Class Ministry
Mission Statement: To teach new members who have recently joined the church the basics of Christian living, Baptist Doctrine and an overview of Elam Baptist Church.
Outreach Ministry
Mission Statement: For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13

Pastor’s Aid Ministry
Mission Statement: It is the aim of the Pastor’s Aid Ministry to assist the Pastor. 1 Timothy 5:17
Praise Team Dance Ministry
Mission Statement: The Praise Team ministers the Word by interpretive dancing to gospel music with the purpose of leading lost souls to Christ.
Recreation Ministry
Mission Statement: To plan, coordinate and evaluate a recreational program for all ages that is Christ centered and expands the total church outreach ministry.
Support Counseling Ministry
Mission Statement: WHEN REAL MEN MEET was designed to encourage men to acknowledge their shortcomings and learn how to overcome them. Therefore, rise up, dust off, and accept the call of perseverance rather than flee.
Transportation Ministry (Inactive)
Mission Statement: To supply reliable and safe transportation to and from worship services and other church related functions as necessary.

Trustee Ministry
Mission Statement: The Trustee Ministry shall consist of members of the Elam Baptist Church who will administer the finances for the membership for this church using sound financial principles and practices. All matters shall be carried out biblically according to church doctrine and with a Christian spirit.
Usher’s Ministry
Mission Statement: The ministry of the usher goes far beyond opening a door. The purpose of an usher is to represent Christ to all that come to worship at the church. In a sense, they serve as the host of the building in which believers and strangers gather to seek God. This purpose alone expresses the privilege and responsibility that falls to a church usher.
Vacation Bible School Ministry
Mission Statement: To joyfully share the Word of God with the children/adults at VBS, so that children/adults in our community can be drawn to Jesus in a fun and atmosphere.
Mission Statement: The Visitation Ministry is a ministry that brings compassion and assistance to the sick and hurt with Spiritual Hymns and the Word of God. Coordinate a pool of volunteers that would check in with the Nursing Home of what is allowed to be received as donations from the EBC Church Family.
Watchman Monitoring Ministry
Mission Statement: To provide a safe secure environment, for those persons who worship, meditate, praise and fellowship in Elam Baptist Church. As Gatekeepers, we are to protect the Pastor/Family Members/Visitors by providing a safe environment during all Church Services. Psalm 127
Women of Purpose Ministry
Mission Statement: To glorify God in ways that women of all ages will come to know Him as Savior and Lord and seek a right relationship with Him. Jeremiah 29:11
Youth Director Ministry
Mission Statement: To direct and lead youth programming for youth. The Director of Youth Ministry shall seek to foster Christian community through building relationships with young people that strengthen their commitment to the church and growth in faith in Jesus Christ.
